XXYYXX continues to release some interesting material over his bandcamp. Yesterday he released Mistify. Another good release from this new, but already much respected producer. Just listen to LSD Dream Theatre track in this release, it’s something new and very interesting stuff i can listen to this over and over again.

March 13th is a special day for Melbourne based artist Galapagoose as on this date his LP Commitments was released on Daedelus imprint Magical Properties. I wanted to post it yesterday, but didn’t find a place for all of you to listen to it. I’ve been waiting for this release after i heard “One Who Can’t Move” from this album. And whole album didn’t disappointed – it’s full of strange hiphop beats, sometimes tressed with faded vocals and sometimes it has house beats or guitar riffs. It is diverse and catchy album where every track have something different to offer. Worth listen and buy a vinyl for example.
somehow i was following Gang Colours .. don’t even know when I’ve started to do that. This bands name was popping out in front of my eyes several times over last week.
Maybe it was the music or my eyes really got tired.. the sounds left tears on my cheeks.
Sweet, soft voice queen from japan Cokiyu released remixes for her latest album Your Thorn on Japanese label flau. This remix album waited for his turn few weeks because i wanted to listen in the right mood – when calm, but accumulated and no one draws my attention from music. After listen I’ve got what I’ve expected and much more. Sweet and light compositions magically chopped beats like in shigeto or opiate remixes, or some guitar layers mixed with ambient textures like The Remote Viewer or Turalica remixes.
So listen to this great collection of remixes and buy it if you like (i love it):
I think a lot of blogs mentioned about this release already, but i can’t resist to post about it after the first listen. I think i can say that this release is the best what I’ve heard this year so far. Of course it is only 11 days in this year :), but i like that release very much. Tropics Parodia Flare was released on Planet Mu label in September and now (January 3rd) Nautical Clamor appeared in the bandcamp page. It’s compilation of 10 tracks of unreleased material, old and new. We can hear beautiful and tropical chillwave, downtempo, ambient emotions echoed with shoegazed guitars in whole album. You can dream and/or dance to this album … and repeat that couple of times of course.
